Let’s talk about the first look. It’s one of those moments that’s packed with emotion, anticipation, and maybe a little bit of “don’t trip, don’t trip” running through your head.
No pressure, right?
But here’s the thing: having the perfect soundtrack can make the whole thing feel a lot less awkward and a lot more memorable.
That’s why I created a Spotify playlist just for first looks. It’s packed with slow, romantic(esque) songs that set the right tone—whether you’re tearing up, cracking jokes, or just soaking in the moment together. Think of it as the audio version of all “the feels” you wish to express, but let’s face it, you’re probably crying (or laughing) too hard to say the right words.
Here’s what’s great about it:
-
It’s not overly sappy, but it still has that Nicholas Sparks movie without being cringe energy.
-
You can use it for the first look, getting ready, or even as a background mood-setter while you relive your photos later.
-
It’s ready to go—just press play, no skipping required.
Click here to stream the playlist, save it to your library, and cross “find the perfect first look song” off your to-do list. Trust me, your photographer and your future selves will thank you.
Got a song you think deserves a spot? Hit me up—I’m always looking for new music.
