Not essential information, but it probably helps to know who you’re inviting to third-wheel your wedding day.

• I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was about nine and apparently never got bored of it.
• I still cry every time I watch The Wedding Singer. Every time.
• I listen to a lot of music and will probably ask what you’ve been playing lately.
• There’s a very good chance I’m currently halfway through a haunted or conspiracy podcast.  Give me ALL your theories.
• Stand-up comedy is one of my favorite forms of entertainment...and Bravo.  We cannot forget about Bravo.
• I’m a little sarcastic, a little sentimental, and not great at pretending I’m not emotional during weddings.
• I don’t take myself too seriously, but I care a lot about doing this job well.
• I believe all love should be celebrated.
• If you’ve made it this far, we’ll probably get along.

a few completely unnecessary facts

Might cry. Will deliver.

I grew up in Yoder, Kansas, and at one point moved to Kansas City on a whim with about $80 to my name. No real plan. Just a gut feeling it was time to go.
Somewhere along the way, a camera I’d been carrying around most of my life turned into a career. I’ve now spent over a decade photographing weddings and couples, documenting the real moments that happen when people forget there’s a camera nearby.
Outside of photography, I’m a mom, a heavy coffee drinker, and the caretaker of two dogs and a rabbit who fully believe this house belongs to them.
I’m also an old soul. I love anything nostalgic — old movies, vintage everything, and music from pretty much every era. Seriously. Try me. You’ll have a hard time finding a song I don’t know.
When I’m not editing photos, I’m usually diving into reality TV, stand-up comedy, old SNL sketches, or falling down a rabbit hole of haunted or conspiracy podcasts.

Laughter and deep conversations are kind of a requirement around here.

Tell me about the two of you.

Alright, enough about me

spill the beans!

If nostalgia were a person, she’d probably be me.
